What to know
Karaoke in Da Nang splits into Korean-style rooms and local Vietnamese KTV, and the two price completely differently. When you compare a Danang karaoke price, the first question is not the total but what the total includes.
Korean-style venues often bundle a basic spirits set and snacks into the room charge. Local KTV bills the room by the hour and everything else separately, so two venues quoting "two hours, one million dong" can differ by a factor of two.
Every venue here lists each item with the party size it assumes. Whether a room rate is quoted for four people or eight is the single biggest lever on the per-person figure.
How it works
- Pick the room size first. Staff often suggest one size up; as long as you stay within the stated party basis, the smaller room wins on a per-person basis.
- Decide before you go in whether you want a drinks set or bottles. A set is fixed and predictable; bottles are pay-as-you-drink but easy to add to at the table.
- Rooms are usually booked in two-hour blocks, extended in thirty- or sixty-minute steps. Ask the extension rate up front and the bill holds no surprises.
- Most places take cards and cash, but cards sometimes carry a surcharge. On a big night cash can be cheaper.
Where money leaks
- Items described as "service" sometimes appear on the bill. Asking once, at the moment they arrive, settles it.
- Going over the room’s stated party size adds a per-head charge or forces a second room. The calculator on this site flags that the moment it happens.
- Tipping is not obligatory but it is customary. Deciding the amount and the recipient in advance avoids negotiating at the till.
- Places you reach by following a tout usually have no printed price list. Asking to see one first is the most reliable defence there is.

Do I need to book?
On Friday and Saturday evenings it helps. Large rooms are few and go first, so walking in means choosing from what is left. No deposit is involved — an enquiry here just passes your conditions along; you pay at the venue.
What if the bill differs from the listed price?

How late do they stay open?
Most open around 19:00 and close near 02:00, and some differ by weekday. We store hours per weekday and show, on every card, whether a venue is open right now in Da Nang local time.
Can I go alone?
You can, but it is the worst combination for the per-person figure, because the room charge does not shrink with the party. On your own, a bar that charges by the seat is more likely to fit the budget.
